| Ladle |
 Ladle Ladle is a heavy conical shaped, top open vessel used for melting/refining/storage of molten steel for a short period. The content capacity of ladle varies from 250 kg to 150000kg of molten metal. Small sized ladles of 250 kg to 5000 kg capacity are used in small and medium sized foundries and larger sizes are used in steel making shop (SMS) of steel mills. We have capacity to fabricate ladles up to 120 metric tons of molten metal. The fabrication process requires cone rolling, dish making etc of plates of 25 mm to 50 mm thickness and welding of the same. 100% radiography of butt welds and ultrasonic checking of all plates/trunnions to ensure the use of lamination free and internal defect free plates/bars etc. Orientation, positioning of trunnions; tilting hook point, pour plug, pouring sprout etc are critically checked by us to ensure satisfactory working of the ladle.  |
